Gaskin has filed a lawsuit against Skyy, her associates, and the apartment complex for the alleged attack. He claims that the building lacked adequate security measures and failed to intervene when Skyy and her companions ambushed him in the lobby.
According to legal documents obtained by TMZ, Gaskin sustained injuries during the altercation, which required extensive medical treatment including dental, psychological, and chiropractic care. He also alleges that the incident has caused him to experience public panic attacks and resulted in lost wages due to his inability to work.
Gaskin is seeking unspecified damages for the physical and emotional toll he has endured, along with punitive damages to deter such behavior in the future.
In response, Skyy has alleged that Gaskin instigated the confrontation in front of her child weeks prior. Gaskin denies this accusation, stating that he only expressed concerns about her parenting.
