Prosecutors in the Luigi Mangione murder trial have presented new evidence in court, including photos of the gun allegedly used to kill UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson.
The photos, obtained by TMZ, show a handgun, bullets, and a magazine. According to police, these items were found in Luigi’s bag at the time of his arrest.
These new photos offer a clearer view of the gun from different angles, providing the best look yet at the weapon allegedly used in Thompson’s murder.
Recent court hearings in Luigi’s trial have been filled with compelling evidence, including video footage of the shooting, the 911 call leading to Luigi’s arrest at a McDonald’s in Pennsylvania, and body cam footage from the arrest.
Luigi has maintained his innocence and pleaded not guilty to the murder of Thompson, who was fatally shot on a sidewalk in NYC on December 4, 2024.
