The integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the audiovisual landscape, despite various controversies, is set to be a focal point at the upcoming Iberseries & Platino Industria event in Madrid on October 1. This workshop, organized by the Madrid Audiovisual Cluster, brings together over 100 businesses based in Madrid to delve into seven illuminating case studies, some presented by members of the Cluster.
The primary goal is to explore how AI can augment operational efficiency within the industry rather than merely focus on the potential threat to employment, as emphasized by Iberseries director, Samuel Castro.
Key topics slated for discussion include:
- Strategies for marketing and distributing audiovisual content;
- Management workflows for scripted and unscripted audiovisual productions;
- Application of AI in visual effects (VFX) and post-production for both fiction and advertising;
- Enhancing the visibility of web content in the evolving ecosystem shaped by AI engines and large language models;
- Generation of sports-related audiovisual content.
The workshop will be moderated by Henar LeĂłn, a noted technology expert with a focus on the cultural sector, who will facilitate discussions among the participating experts.
