According to Maggie Haberman, former president and current GOP nominee Donald Trump has been spending time with far-right conspiracy theorist Laura Loomer due to her unwavering loyalty to him.
Last week, Trump faced criticism for including Loomer in events such as the 9/11 commemorations and the presidential debate. Trump defended her presence by highlighting her as a strong supporter who is not officially part of his campaign.
Haberman pointed out that Trump seems to appreciate Loomer’s willingness to defend him at all costs, despite her history of making offensive remarks. Although Trump’s campaign withdrew a job offer from Loomer last year, he still values her loyalty and outspoken support.
