Conservative health and wellness advocate Alex Clark disclosed on the recent episode of “Pod Force One” that she has been overwhelmed with death threats for merely encouraging Americans to improve their diets.

Clark, who hosts Turning Point USA’s “Culture Apothecary” podcast, attributed the increase in threats to what she describes as the “assassination culture” on the left, exacerbated by the murder of Charlie Kirk.

“Since Charlie was killed, I can’t even count how many death threats I’ve received,” Clark mentioned to the guest host Lydia Moynihan on “Pod Force One.” “What’s even more shocking is that while some threats came from the left, a significant number were from fans of Candace Owens.”

The Make America Healthy Again advocate expressed concern about needing constant security while visiting college campuses, despite focusing only on health and wellness topics, due to the threats she faces.

“I’m not really that much of a threat to the left, given the nature of my Turning Point tours, but now I require armed security wherever I go,” she explained. “I was even asked if I wanted to start wearing a bulletproof vest. Talking about eating real food is something that, five to seven years ago, when I first started, would have been unimaginable.”

Clark remarked that it is a particularly “scary time” for Christian conservatives in the United States.

“I don’t know if it’s ever been more difficult in history to be openly conservative and Christian in America,” she shared on “Pod Force One,” asserting that wearing a MAGA hat as a conservative makes one a significant target, which she finds very alarming.

Clark, who has cultivated a large following among conservative women, was also questioned about her success in attracting many women, who traditionally tend to support the political left.

“Historically, the way to engage women has been through culture, and the left dominates pop culture, so that avenue has traditionally belonged to them,” she explained.

“However, we have a chance to make an impact in areas like parenting, health, food, and family. These are elements where the conservative movement can really connect with women.”

Regarding the MAHA movement, Clark hinted that “chemicals in our clothing” will become a significant focus for health-conscious voters in the upcoming year.

“What I am very passionate about is that 2026 will be the year of pesticides, and I believe in 2027, MAHA voters will focus on chemicals in our clothing,” she stated.

“We’re beginning to see a shift towards natural fiber and organic cotton clothing, and a significant opposition to polyester.”

Clark pointed out that clothing chemical regulations in the U.S. haven’t been updated since the 1940s, and with increasing cases of eczema and skin sensitivities, more Americans should be informed about these outdated laws.

She suggested that addressing chemicals in clothing is “a straightforward measure that the FDA could initiate in America.”
