Man Fatally Stabbed in Bronx Apartment
A tragic incident unfolded late Sunday night in the Bronx, as 32-year-old Michael Bookhart lost his life in a violent altercation with his girlfriend. The fatal stabbing occurred around 10:40 p.m. inside an apartment building on East 138th Street near Brown Place in Mott Haven, according to law enforcement sources.
Bookhart sustained a fatal stab wound to the chest during a heated argument with his girlfriend, prompting a 911 call for emergency assistance. He was swiftly transported to Lincoln Medical Center, where he tragically succumbed to his injuries. The victim resided only a few blocks away from the scene of the tragic incident.
