A fugitive apprehended at Centennial’s Southglenn Library pleads guilty to obstructing peace officer
In a recent development, Sean Hanneman, 56, who was wanted for parole violations and escape, has pleaded guilty to obstructing a peace officer at Centennial’s Southglenn Library. Court records confirm this plea deal.
Last August, deputies conducted an extensive search for Hanneman near a Centennial residence before eventually locating him at the library in September. Despite attempting to flee on foot, Hanneman was apprehended by members of the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office’s Special Response Team.
Following his plea, the charge of resisting arrest was dropped on February 4. Hanneman has been sentenced to 90 days in prison, with credit for the 90 days already served, and has been ordered to pay $219.50 in court fees and other penalties.
