On Monday, a reckless individual sneaked into an MTA bus at a Brooklyn depot, leaving the driver stunned as he sped off with the bus. The incident took place at the Ulmer Park Bus Depot in Bath Beach around 12:40 a.m. According to sources, the 32-year-old culprit, who has a fascination with buses and is known to frequent the depot, managed to drive the bus out of the lot with the driver still on board.
The unauthorized joyride came to an abrupt end when the bus crashed into a parked car at the intersection of 25th and Cropsey avenues. Fortunately, no injuries were reported in the crash.
