Man Narrowly Escapes Scary Bear Attack in Russia, on Video

In a terrifying twist of fate, a man in Russia narrowly escaped being mauled by an irate bear!

In a thrilling video capturing his brush with death, the man can be seen diving into the backseat of his parked car in a lot located in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, a city nestled on Russia’s rugged Kamchatka Peninsula, on Thursday—just as a bear appeared out of nowhere to launch an attack!

The irate bear thumped its paws against the vehicle, leaving noticeable dents, before wandering off—presumably realizing that a meal had slipped through its claws. Sadly, others were not as fortunate as this lucky man.

According to local news reports, later that day, the same bear launched an attack on a 12-year-old boy near a sports complex. Thankfully, the child survived, albeit with serious injuries from the encounter.

Not long after that attack, tragedy struck again when the bear mauled an 84-year-old woman in the vicinity, resulting in her death from the injuries sustained.

In a course of swift action, the bear was ultimately shot and killed by a hunter associated with a volunteer patrol shortly after the attacks.
