CWBChicago was established in 2013 by a group of residents from Wrigleyville and Boystown who were dissatisfied with the inaccurate information being provided at local Community Policing (CAPS) meetings.
Our coverage has since expanded to include areas like Lincoln Park, River North, The Loop, Uptown, and other North Side neighborhoods. Despite this growth, our core mission remains the same: to deliver original reporting on public safety with in-depth context and accuracy that surpasses mainstream media outlets.
