A 25-year-old man connected to a Colorado Springs shooting that injured six people turned himself in
Deomni Myers, a 25-year-old man allegedly connected to a shooting in Colorado Springs that left six people injured on Saturday night, has turned himself in to the police department.
Myers has been arrested on suspicion of attempted first-degree murder in the shooting incident that took place in the 1400 block of Potter Drive just after 10 p.m. on Saturday, according to the Colorado Springs Police Department.
While investigators are still determining if others were involved in the shooting, paramedics transported four victims to the hospital while two others took themselves. One of the six victims remains in critical condition.
Myers was released from jail on Monday after posting a $50,000 cash or surety bond, as per court records. He has not yet been formally charged in connection with the shooting but is scheduled to appear in court next Friday for an advisement hearing.
