Stand-up comedian Mark Normand made body-shaming remarks about Travis Kelce’s fiancée, Taylor Swift, during a podcast appearance.
On Wednesday’s episode of the “Club Shay Shay” podcast, Normand contrasted Swift with Kelce’s previous partners.
“We’ve seen his (Travis Kelce) exes. Compared to old surfboard body here… I mean, this is not to besmirch the lady, but that’s quite a jump in type,” Normand remarked.
Normand further suggested that Swift might consider undergoing a Brazilian Butt Lift surgery.
“I wonder if he (Travis Kelce) misses that fat a**… she (Taylor Swift) could get a BBL,” Normand added.
Host Shannon Sharpe dismissed these comments, defending Kelce’s relationship choice.
“If somebody makes you happier, is that a fumble?” Sharpe questioned.
Taylor Swift has previously been open about her struggles with body dysmorphia. In her 2020 documentary “Miss Americana,” she discussed her past views on her appearance.
Swift mentioned that fitting into a sample size at photoshoots felt like a “pat on the head,” while not fitting in seemed like a punishment.
Swift has also shared that seeing unflattering photos of herself or reading comments suggesting she “looked pregnant” would sometimes lead her to stop eating.
In the documentary, she addressed the impossible standards women face regarding body image.
“If you are thin enough, then you don’t have that a** that everybody wants,” Swift noted. “But if you have enough weight on you to have an a**, your stomach is not flat enough. It is all just f**king impossible.”
Swift’s song “Anti-Hero” also explores these internal battles, with a scene in the music video showing a scale reading “FAT.”
Currently, Swift is reportedly in a joyful phase of her life. She and Travis Kelce got engaged in August after two years of dating and are expected to marry on June 13 in Rhode Island.
Before Swift, Kelce was in a relationship with Kayla Nicole from 2017 to 2022.

Travis Kelce’s relationship with Taylor Swift inspires flag football team
In Kansas City, a group of first-grade girls gained attention on Wednesday by forming a flag football team named the KC Swifties.
This initiative was inspired by the high-profile romance between Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift, which has also drawn more female viewers to the NFL.
The official NFL Instagram account shared images of the enthusiastic young team, captioning it, “This is what it’s all about 🫶.”
The Kansas City Chiefs added to the post with a heart emoji.
