Mark Sanchez was apprehended following a stabbing incident early Saturday morning, as reported by the authorities.
The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department issued a statement hours after initial reports broke about Sanchez being stabbed shortly after midnight, indicating that he had been taken into custody for his presumed involvement in the matter.
The former NFL player and current commentator faced charges including battery resulting in injury, unlawful entry into a vehicle, and public intoxication, which are all classified as misdemeanors.
