Netflix Reportedly Cuts Ties with Meghan Markle and Prince Harry
Despite the upcoming release of season 2 of With Love, Meghan on Netflix this fall, the streaming service has reportedly decided to end its contract with Meghan Markle and Prince Harry when it expires at the end of 2025.
Industry insiders have revealed that Netflix has no plans to renew its deal with the former royals. The decision comes after the couple’s show, With Love, Meghan, failed to perform well on the platform, finishing in 383rd place in the first half of 2025 viewership report.
Although the second season of With Love, Meghan was already filmed before the first season aired, Netflix has decided to part ways with Markle and Harry. The couple’s other project, Harry’s polo series, also failed to gain traction with viewers.
One of the duo’s only successful ventures on Netflix was their royal life tell-all docuseries, Harry & Meghan. However, since their departure from the royal family in 2020, Markle and Harry have distanced themselves from producing any new royal family content.
It seems that Netflix and its viewers have lost interest in Markle and Harry, leading to the streaming service’s decision to end their partnership. As the couple moves forward with their careers outside of the royal family, it will be interesting to see what projects they will pursue next.
