According to law enforcement sources, the incident occurred on Friday night when an intruder smashed a glass door around 11 PM. Fortunately, security at Liu’s home was able to alert the police, who conducted a search of the premises but found no suspects inside.
The silver lining in this unfortunate event is that Liu was not home at the time of the break-in, and his house is currently undergoing renovations. Sources indicate that there was nothing of significant value inside the home at the time of the incident.
