A brazen crew of masked and hooded individuals recently carried out a daring heist at a Bronx charter school, making off with approximately $14,000 worth of electronics. The incident took place at the American Dream Charter School in Mott Haven, where the culprits gained entry through an open door on the roof.
Surveillance images released by the NYPD captured two of the suspects in the act. The group made off with a variety of items, including a walkie-talkie, laptops, speakers, and graphing calculators. The stolen goods amounted to a significant sum, totaling around $14,000.
The robbery occurred late at night on January 4th, with the thieves entering the school premises around 11:15 p.m. The perpetrators were seen pushing the stolen items on rolling office chairs as they made their escape through the front door.
Authorities are still investigating whether the suspects have any affiliation with the school or if they were former students. The brazen nature of the crime has left the community shocked and concerned about the safety of the school and its students.
