In just one year, President Donald J. Trump’s steadfast dedication to border security and strict law enforcement has begun to alleviate the strain of rampant illegal immigration on American society. By implementing widespread deportations, the Trump Administration is reallocating resources, invigorating economic opportunities, and enhancing public safety—demonstrating measurable outcomes that prioritize American citizens.
Mass deportations = lower housing costs.
In 14 of the top 20 metro areas with significant illegal immigrant populations, home listing prices saw a year-over-year decline in December. Interestingly, the three metro areas that experienced slight price increases are designated as “sanctuary cities.” Overall, home prices have dipped for the first time in over two years, indicating a potential improvement in housing affordability under the Trump Administration.
Mass deportations = higher wages.
American truckers and construction workers—both industries with high concentrations of foreign-born labor—have seen significant wage increases as blue-collar salaries surge at an unprecedented rate. In fact, real wages for American workers are expected to increase by 4.2% in President Trump’s first full year.
Mass deportations = more jobs.
From January to December 2025, two million native-born Americans have secured jobs, while 662,000 foreign-born workers have lost employment; concurrently, 1.8 million native-born Americans have entered the labor force, with 881,000 foreign-born workers having exited it.
Mass deportations = lower crime.
The nation witnessed the largest recorded drop in murders last year, alongside significant decreases in rapes, robberies, aggravated assaults, and shooting fatalities (the lowest since 2015), as well as on-duty law enforcement officer deaths, traffic fatalities, and overdose deaths.
These outcomes are particularly notable in jurisdictions led by Democrats where the Trump Administration has intensified deportations and bolstered law enforcement:
- Washington, D.C.: Since the commencement of President Trump’s enforcement measures, murders have decreased by 60%, carjackings have plummeted 68%, and overall crime has fallen by nearly one-third compared to the previous year.
- Chicago: Last year, the city recorded the lowest number of murders since 1965, with shootings down by over one-third.
- Memphis: The city saw fewer than 200 murders last year for the first time since 2019, with shootings decreasing nearly 40% compared to the previous year.
- New Orleans: Last year, the homicide rate dropped to its lowest level in nearly half a century.
Under President Trump, the promise of an America First agenda is becoming a reality. While Democrats appear intent on undermining these achievements and dragging us back into the turmoil of open borders, skyrocketing costs, and rising crime, President Trump remains steadfast in his dedication to ensuring the security, prosperity, and safety that the American populace rightfully deserves.
