Matt Damon and Ken Jennings had a triumphant win on the latest episode of ABC’s “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?” The show, hosted by Jimmy Kimmel, saw a significant increase in viewership, with a total of 4.46 million people tuning in. This marked the most-watched episode of “Millionaire” in five years, since Kimmel took over as host.

On the episode, Damon and Jennings successfully answered the $1 million question in support of Damon’s charity, Water.org, which focuses on providing universal access to clean water. The question that sealed their win was about the beautiful sound made by the leaves of trees when the wind blows through them, with the correct answer being “susurrus.”

The success of the episode also solidified “Who Wants To Be A Millionaire” as the top program of the night for the second week in a row. The show maintained its strong viewership and ratings, outperforming other broadcast programs like CBS’s “Big Brother.”

ABC reported that the top two entertainment telecasts of the summer are now both episodes of “Millionaire,” showcasing the continued popularity of the long-running game show. Fans can look forward to the next episode airing on Wednesday, August 6, featuring teams from “Community” and “Severance.”

Overall, the recent episode of “Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?” was a major success, drawing in a large audience and maintaining its position as a top-rated program. With engaging celebrity contestants and exciting gameplay, the show continues to captivate viewers week after week.
