Sex Scandal Involving Matt Gaetz Leads to Guilty Plea from Former Associate
Recently, a sordid sex scandal involving Congressman Matt Gaetz has come to light, resulting in at least one individual close to Gaetz facing serious consequences. Joel Greenberg, a former associate of Gaetz who previously served as a Florida tax collector, pleaded guilty to six charges, including sex trafficking of a minor, identity theft, stalking, wire fraud, and conspiracy to bribe a public official.
As part of his plea agreement, Greenberg has agreed to cooperate with federal investigators and has been sentenced to 11 years in prison. Despite ongoing allegations, Gaetz has consistently denied any wrongdoing, including engaging in sexual activities with a minor, transporting individuals across state lines for illicit purposes, or obstructing justice to conceal his actions.
During a 2021 appearance on Tucker Carlson’s show on Fox News, Gaetz vehemently denied the allegations, stating that the individual in question does not exist and refuting any claims of involvement with a 17-year-old. A staunch supporter of former President Donald Trump and a member of the Freedom Caucus known as the ‘MAGA Squad’, Gaetz has yet to address the recent court filing.
