A source close to the Sussexes revealed that Meghan Markle is adamant about “maintaining boundaries” with her estranged father, Thomas Markle.

The insider added that Meghan has made it clear she wants the communication between them to remain private and has no intention of rehashing past issues. It has been privately stated that she has no plans to see Thomas in person ever again.

It was reported that Meghan deleted her father’s phone number shortly after her wedding to Prince Harry, which Thomas did not attend. As a result, Thomas has never met Harry or the couple’s children, Archie, 6, and Lilibet, 4.

A source from the palace described Meghan’s stance on the matter as resolute. They said, “She believes she has reached out in a careful and safe manner, but her decision is final – there will be no in-person visits.”

Prior to their estrangement, Meghan and her father had a close relationship. Thomas, a former lighting director, had been involved in Meghan’s life before their falling out.
