After stepping away from royal responsibilities in 2020, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have established their lives in Montecito, California, with their two children, Archie, seven, and Lilibet, four. However, the couple has faced increasing scrutiny over their business activities and ongoing discussions regarding their strained ties with the royal family. According to insiders, Markle is now considering steps to mend these royal relationships.
As part of these efforts, sources indicate that Markle is planning a private meeting to reconcile with Queen Camilla, 78, during Harry’s expected visit in the summer.
An individual close to the Sussexes shared: “Meghan has recognized that remaining trapped in a cycle of bitterness and silence is not productive for anyone.
“She understands that some in the Royal Family still have doubts about her intentions and may never completely trust her again. However, she believes that waiting for others to initiate change might result in nothing happening. She is becoming more convinced that if there is to be any hope of repairing these relationships, someone must be willing to take the initiative and open the door.”
