A Female NYPD Traffic Agent Attacked in Brooklyn
In a shocking incident in broad daylight in Brooklyn, a male assailant threw a mystery liquid at a 33-year-old female NYPD traffic agent. The attack took place at the corner of 7th Avenue and 6th Street in Park Slope, a busy area surrounded by Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, a church, a Barnes & Noble, and a Bank of America.
The perpetrator fled the scene in a 2014 Infiniti sedan, driving west on 6th Avenue. The agent was rushed to Brooklyn Methodist Hospital and is currently in stable condition. However, the contents of the liquid remain unidentified, and the motive behind the attack is unknown.
Law enforcement officials have not made any arrests related to the incident at this time. This attack comes after a series of assaults on NYPD traffic agents, including a recent incident in Queens where an agent was robbed of his summons machine. In another case last year, a group sprayed a fire extinguisher at a traffic enforcement agent, causing serious injury.
