Former first lady Michelle Obama surprised fans by making a visit to the Tattered Cover bookstore in Denver, where she left behind signed copies of her book “The Light We Carry.” In a post on X, Obama shared her excitement about the surprise visit, mentioning that she brought some members of her team along. She was captured in a video signing copies of her book at the store and encouraged fans to share if they found one of the signed copies.

This visit to the Tattered Cover was not the first for Obama, as she had previously visited in 2018 for a signing of her book “Becoming.” In the video, Obama expressed hope that her next bookstore visit would be in a location closer to her fans across the country. She also encouraged everyone to remember the importance of voting.

Fans who missed out on the signed copies at the Tattered Cover can stay updated on future events by signing up for the daily Your Morning Dozen email newsletter. Remember to mark your calendars for the next opportunity to meet Michelle Obama and get your own signed copy of her book.
