Millie Bobby Brown Addresses Bullying and Harassment Claims Against David Harbour
Recently, there were reports from The Daily Mail regarding bullying and harassment allegations made by 21-year-old Millie Bobby Brown against her co-star David Harbour, 50, prior to the start of production on Season 5 of their hit show. The accusations were said to be extensive, leading to a lengthy investigation. However, both actors have chosen not to directly comment on the specifics of the situation.
In a new interview with Deadline, Brown spoke out about her working relationship with Harbour, particularly emphasizing the sense of security she has always felt with him. Brown plays Eleven, a character who is adopted by Harbour’s character Jim Hopper in the series.
“Of course I felt safe. I mean, we’ve worked together for 10 years,” Brown stated in a clip released on November 28. “I feel safe with everyone on that set. You naturally just, you know… you’ve been doing it for so long.”
Brown went on to highlight the special bond she shares with Harbour, both on and off-screen, due to the emotional depth of their characters’ relationship. “We also play father and daughter, so naturally you have a closer bond than the rest, because we have had some really intense scenes together, especially in season 2,” she explained. Costar Noah Schnapp also joined in to mention their own close friendship.
