After Being Rushed From Fight to Hospital

MMA Fighter Isaac Johnson has tragically passed away after sustaining injuries during a match near Chicago on a fateful Friday night.
NBC 5 Chicago has reported that Johnson collapsed after sustaining an injury during his match against Mario Aleksandrovski at Cicero Stadium.
An ambulance was summoned to the stadium at 8:38 PM local time to transfer the “injured fighter” to the hospital, where Johnson tragically passed away a few hours later, shortly after midnight.
The Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office has announced plans to conduct an autopsy to determine the cause of Johnson’s untimely demise.
Joe Goytia, the promoter of the Matador Fighter Challenge event in which Johnson was a participant, informed Fox 5 Washington, D.C. that Johnson had successfully passed the mandatory pre-fight medical examination.

Mission MMA & Fitness, a renowned gym for MMA athletes in Chicago, paid tribute to Isaac, describing him as “an extraordinary individual, a wonderful friend, and a devoted father. He will be deeply missed by all of us.” The gym also requested privacy for his family during this difficult time.
Isaac leaves us at the young age of 31.
