Monster Beverage Corp. Achieves Record Quarterly Net Sales

Monster Beverage Corp. has announced that it has achieved “record” quarterly net sales in its second quarter, surpassing $2 billion in sales. The US-based company, famous for its Monster energy drinks, reported a net sales increase of 11.1% to $2.11 billion in the second quarter of 2025 compared to the same period last year.

Hilton Schlosberg, CEO of Monster Beverage, expressed his satisfaction with the results, stating, “We achieved record net sales for the second quarter, exceeding the $2 billion mark for the first time. This milestone underscores the strength of our brands, the talent of our team, and the continued appeal of our products globally.”

Schlosberg also highlighted the success of their product innovations, stating that they are resonating strongly with consumers and contributing to the company’s growth.

In the second quarter, the Monster Energy Drinks segment, which includes Monster Energy drinks, Reign Total Body Fuel, and Bang Energy drinks, saw net sales rise by 11.2% to $1.94 billion. The Strategic Brands segment, which includes energy-drink brands acquired from The Coca-Cola Co such as Predator and Fury, also experienced growth with net sales increasing by 18.9% to $129.9 million.

However, the group’s Alcohol Brands division did not fare as well, witnessing an 8.6% decline in net sales to $38 million. The company had previously recorded impairment charges on its alcohol business in the fourth quarter of 2024.

Monster Beverage’s operating income in the second quarter of 2025 rose by 19.8% to $631.6 million, while net income for the period climbed by 14.9% to $488.8 million.

Commenting on the results, Schlosberg emphasized the positive trends in energy drink consumption and the importance of their innovative product pipeline for long-term growth.

For the six months ending June 30, 2025, Monster Beverage’s net sales increased by 4.4% to $3.97 billion. Operating income for the period reached $1.2 billion, while net income grew by 7.4% to $931.8 million.

The company’s success in achieving record quarterly net sales was originally reported by Just Drinks.
