Motorola’s budget phone lineup for 2025 seems to have been accidentally unveiled through a series of leaks surrounding the Moto G series. The leaks provide detailed information about three upcoming models: Moto G56, Moto G86, and Moto G96.
Starting with the Moto G56, which was mistakenly listed on the Motorola Czechia and Slovakia websites, revealing official images and specifications. The Moto G56 is set to be announced on May 29 and will come in Pantone Dazzling Blue, Pantone Dill, Pantone Gray Mist, and Pantone Black Oyster color options. It will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7060 processor, paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of expandable storage. The phone will feature a 50MP Sony Lytia LYT-600 main camera, a 32MP front camera, and a 5,200mAh battery with 30W wired charging support. Additionally, the Moto G56 will boast MIL-STD-810H, IP68, and IP69 certification, along with Gorilla Glass 7i protection.
Moving on to the Moto G86, leaks suggest that it will sport a 6.67-inch 1.5K pOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 4,500-nit peak brightness, protected by Gorilla Glass 7i. The phone is expected to be powered by a Dimensity 7300 chip, offer up to 12GB of RAM, and 256GB of storage. The Moto G86 may also come with IP68/69 and MIL-STD-810H certification, along with a 50MP main camera, an 8MP secondary camera, and a 32MP selfie camera. The device could feature a 5,200mAh battery in Europe and a larger 6,720mAh battery in China.
Lastly, the Moto G96 has also been leaked, featuring a vegan leather back in four Pantone-approved finishes, a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor, 12GB of RAM, and 256GB of storage. The phone is rumored to offer a 6.67-inch pOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, a 5,500mAh battery, a 50MP main camera, an 8MP secondary camera, and a 32MP selfie camera.
While the Moto G56 and Moto G86 are expected to have a wider launch, the Moto G96 might not be available in all regions.
