Motorola is gearing up to launch two exciting new handsets tonight at the Motorola Signature and Razr Fold event, but leaks have already given us a sneak peek at what to expect.
Starting with the flagship Motorola Signature, renowned tipster Evan Blass has shared what seems to be official press images of the device ahead of the official unveiling at CES. The Motorola Signature is expected to come equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor, 12 or 16GB of RAM, and storage options ranging from 256GB to 1TB. Additionally, the phone will feature an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor for added security.
According to leaked talking points, the Motorola Signature is being touted as the brand’s most sophisticated smartphone ever, boasting an ultra-thin design, a long-lasting battery, and four 50MP cameras with Sony LYTIA camera sensors. The phone is also said to offer on-demand, white-glove assistance and up to seven years of Android OS and security upgrades.
On the other hand, the Motorola Razr Fold is expected to be previewed at tonight’s event, with a full launch planned for later in the year. The Razr Fold is rumored to offer brilliant displays, intelligent AI capabilities, and an advanced camera system that sets a new standard for foldable devices. The starting price for the Razr Fold in the US is speculated to be $1,500, making it a more affordable option compared to other foldable devices on the market.
In addition to the new smartphones, Motorola is also expected to unveil a new smartwatch called the MotoWatch, a SoundFlow Bluetooth speaker, and second-gen Moto Tag trackers. The Lenovo TechWorld CES event, where all these new devices will be showcased, can be watched live on YouTube starting at 5pm local time in Las Vegas.
