Over the weekend, MSNBC took aim at President Donald Trump for his frequent use of the phrase “I don’t know” during his second term in office.
Throughout various shows, the network showcased compilations of Trump distancing himself from various controversies, such as reports of his administration sending migrants to Libya, his lack of familiarity with his nominee for U.S. surgeon general, and even questions about his commitment to upholding the Constitution.
Host Jonathan Capehart remarked, “He wants to project an image of being an all-powerful leader who is in control of every aspect of government. However, as chaos continues to ensue both domestically and internationally, his governing style seems to boil down to one phrase: ‘Don’t blame me. I don’t know anything about it.'”
