India-based animation company Toonz Media Group has announced a major collaboration with BLKBX Originals and MVP Kids to develop a new 3D animated series and Roblox game based on the popular children’s brand. The partnership aims to create 52 seven-minute episodes that will bring MVP Kids’ diverse cast of characters to life on screen.

Toonz Media Group, known for its extensive portfolio of kids and family content, is strategically expanding into multi-platform storytelling with this project. The studio, which has previously worked with industry giants like Marvel and Universal, will use its animation expertise to convey MVP Kids’ message of individuality through the animated series.

CEO of Toonz Media Group, P. Jayakumar, expressed excitement about the collaboration, highlighting the shared values of diversity and individuality between the partners. The project signifies a significant milestone for MVP Kids, a brand that has built a strong presence through books, puppets, and school curricula over the years.

MVP Kids founder, Mel Sauder, sees the animated series as a natural progression in spreading the brand’s core message of celebrating differences and inspiring children to embrace their unique qualities. The involvement of BLKBX Originals, a production company with a background in entertainment marketing, further enhances the project’s creative potential.

In addition to the animated series, the collaboration will also include a Roblox game component, aiming to engage young audiences in the digital realm. The interactive game will allow players to explore the MVP Kids universe firsthand, combining educational elements with the immersive experience that Roblox offers to its users.

The deal, facilitated by BLKBX Originals’ VP Emerson Machtus, is set to make its debut at Mipcom in October. Machtus will take on the role of producer for BLKBX Originals on the project, underscoring the team’s commitment to delivering a high-quality and engaging entertainment experience for children.
