My membership with Audible, courtesy of Amazon, has been a lifesaver in recent months. While I still have a couple of physical books on my shelf waiting for me—like the third installment in the Fourth Wing series, Onyx Storm—I often find myself pressed for time to delve into lengthy novels, especially while traveling and needing to travel light.

Audiobooks have the incredible ability to whisk me away to different worlds, regardless of my location—be it on a crowded bus in London, coffee in hand, or cooking dinner at home. This month has seen me glued to the app non-stop.

I’m nearing the conclusion of my promotional deal, but Amazon has rolled out an offer that’s so enticing, I wish I were a new subscriber
yet nothing stops me (or you, dear reader) from setting up another account to snag this fantastic deal that could save us some money—or fund our caffeine fix.

During the October Prime Day, Amazon is offering a three-month subscription to Amazon Music Unlimited paired with Audible for just 99p—and the best part is, you don’t need to be an Amazon Prime member to take advantage of it.

If you’re located in the US, the deal gets even better—99 cents for four months if you are a Prime member, and those without Prime can still score three months.

But hurry, as both offers in the UK and US are set to expire tomorrow, October 8, 2025.

So, what does this deal include? Besides receiving three (or four) complimentary audiobooks during your trial, you gain access to a library of over 100 million songs, along with a diverse array of podcasts—all ad-free, featuring support for spatial audio and UHD quality.

If you’re currently subscribed to another service like Spotify or Apple Music, you could consider pausing your subscription and gain comparable access to Amazon’s library for a fraction of the cost.

For audiobook recommendations, I’ve been enjoying the recently launched Uncharmed by Lucy Jane Wood—a charming, witch-themed tale set in London. It captures everything I adore about autumn and has been a delightful companion, even amidst my hectic schedule with various TFL delays.

There’s a treasure trove of new releases to explore as well, including Elizabeth Gilbert’s latest memoir, All the Way to the River, Dan Brown’s new mystery thriller, The Secret of Secrets, and the Sunday Times instant bestseller, Alchemised by SenLinYu, a compelling dark fantasy.

Plus, you can make the most of your Amazon Music Unlimited subscription by immersing yourself in Taylor Swift’s newest album, The Life of a Showgirl, or any other artist or album that strikes your fancy.

Once your three-month promotional period ends, this bundled subscription will automatically renew at the standard price of ÂŁ11.99/$11.99 per month (or ÂŁ10.99/$10.99 for Prime members).

If you own an iPhone, don’t miss out on this significant Prime Day deal that our Deputy Editor recommends.
