Venezuelan Comedian Nacho Redondo Signs with Gersh

Venezuelan comedian Nacho Redondo has secured representation with the esteemed Gersh Agency.

The Mexico City-based humorist, who delivers his comedic performances exclusively in Spanish, is currently in the midst of a vigorous 29-date tour across the United States.

Redondo takes an unconventional approach to his touring strategy. Unlike many international comics who often tailor their routines for English-speaking audiences or adopt bilingual formats, he is betting on the increasing demand for Spanish-language comedy in North America. This allows him to maintain the integrity of his usual comedic style, despite his fluency in English.

Widely recognized for his popular podcast “Escuela de Nada,” Redondo dives into topics such as politics, culture, and personal identity. With nearly 700 episodes archived, the podcast has significantly contributed to his rise in international popularity. He further solidified his comedic standing with the release of his 2023 special “Macadamia” and is already gearing up for his 2024 show “Huevo de Dragón.”

Redondo’s ambitious “Traumas” tour, which launched in April 2025, spans Mexico, Europe, and Latin America, with plans to continue in the U.S. until February 2026. His performances are unique, inviting audience members to share their personal traumas, which he then humorously engages with in a conversational exploration of empathy and the nature of suffering.

A pivotal moment in Redondo’s journey occurred in 2017 when a joke made during a comedy festival led to political censorship and ultimately forced him into exile from Venezuela.

Throughout his career, Redondo has achieved significant milestones including headlining the first all-Spanish comedy show at the Miami Improv in 2019 and gracing the stage at the Netflix Is a Joke festival in 2024.

Joining the prestigious comedy roster at Gersh, Redondo stands alongside notable figures such as John Oliver, Kevin Nealon, Jamie Foxx, Kathy Griffin, Maria Bamford, and Sasheer Zamata, among others. He is also represented by manager David Serna and Agency Margot.
