In other news, the Busan International Film Festival (BIFF) announced its jury lineup for the Jiseok, BIFF Mecenat, and Sonje Awards. The Kim Jiseok Award, which honors new features from established Asian filmmakers, will be judged by industry experts such as Christian Jeune from the Cannes Film Festival and filmmakers Prasanna Vithanage and Shin Suwon. The BIFF Mecenat Award for documentaries will see filmmakers Mohsen Makhmalbaf and Jéro Yun, along with Fujioka Asako from the Yamagata International Documentary Film Festival, deciding the winners.
