Authorities have successfully identified the individual suspected of fatally shooting a police officer and initiating gunfire at the CDC Headquarters, along with the underlying motives that may have driven this tragic incident.

In a shocking turn of events reported by , Emory University in Atlanta declared an active shooter situation on their campus near Emory Point last Friday afternoon. The atmosphere quickly turned tense as rapid gunshots echoed, leading to a complete lockdown for students and faculty.

Photographic evidence later revealed bullet holes at the CDC headquarters, with shell casings discovered on the sidewalk outside a local CVS Pharmacy situated on Emory’s campus.

Fortunately, no employees from either the CDC or CVS were reported injured; however, four CDC staff members sought emergency medical attention, experiencing anxiety-related symptoms.

Tragically, DeKalb County Police Officer David Rose lost his life while responding to the unfolding crisis. Additionally, another civilian was hospitalized due to injuries sustained during the incident.

On Saturday afternoon, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation identified the suspect as 30-year-old Patrick Joseph White, a resident of Kennesaw, Georgia.

According to a law enforcement source who spoke with The Associated Press, White was denied entry by campus security when he attempted to access Emory University. Subsequently, he drove to a nearby location close to the CVS pharmacy and began firing indiscriminately.

Equipped with a long gun along with three additional weapons, White specifically targeted the CDC building, allegedly because he held the COVID-19 vaccine responsible for his health issues.

A law enforcement insider confirmed to CNN that several of White’s family members believed he suffered from an unspecified ailment linked to the vaccine. Furthermore, a neighbor shared with FOX 5 Atlanta that White had unequivocally blamed the vaccine for his deteriorating health.

Compounding his distress, White’s father informed authorities that his son was not only troubled by the vaccine’s effects but also grappling with depression following the death of his dog.

As the investigation continues, police have yet to clarify whether White died by suicide or was killed during an exchange of gunfire with law enforcement. The search for answers remains ongoing.
