Blair Gets Pulled into the Epstein Affair.
The recent dismissal of Lord Peter Mandelson from his role as US ambassador has triggered a gradual unearthing of previously sealed documents related to Jeffrey Epstein by British authorities.
The National Archives has responded to a Freedom of Information request, unveiling some attention-grabbing details.

Notably, it has come to light that the iconic Labour leader, Sir Tony Blair, had a meeting with Epstein in Downing Street during his tenure as Prime Minister, propelled by none other than Mandelson’s persistent lobbying.
BBC reported:
“A memo authored by senior civil servant Matthew Rycroft, dated May 14, 2002, briefed Sir Tony on the ‘super-rich’ financial advisor Epstein ahead of a meeting scheduled for 17:00 GMT that very day.”
Confirmation has emerged that Tony Blair met with Jeffrey Epstein in Downing Street while still serving as Prime Minister, facilitated by Lord Peter Mandelson.

Why am I not shocked that Tony Blair met with convicted sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein? Rumor has it that over 300 UK passport holders have graced Epstein’s Island; it’s not just American elites who seem keen to hide the entire Epstein roster. https://t.co/43rlx8VTnF

This meeting took place in 2002, a full six years before Epstein officially confessed to soliciting prostitution from a minor in Florida.
“Emails reviewed by BBC News suggest that Lord Mandelson advocated for the meeting, telling Blair’s chief of staff, Jonathan Powell, that Epstein was ‘a friend of mine’ whom ex-US President Bill Clinton wanted to connect with the PM.”
The email from Mandelson to Blair’s chief of staff, Jonathan Powell.
“Remember when Clinton saw TB [Tony Blair], he mentioned wanting to introduce his travelling companion, Jeffrey Epstein, to TB? This meeting was stymied—TB stated he was unclear on the reasons. I believe TB would find Jeffrey, who is also my friend, worth meeting, as he’s an active scientific catalyst/entrepreneur and has insights into global markets and currencies.
He is young and energetic. He is ‘safe’ (whatever that may entail), and Clinton travels extensively with him now. I alerted TB that Jeffrey will be in London next week, and he expressed interest in meeting. I’ve confirmed with Jeffrey that he is available anytime from Tuesday onward but needs prompt confirmation to adjust his schedule. Can you communicate this?”
