The recent discovery of Adriana Suazo’s body in a wooded area in Milton, Massachusetts has raised concerns about unexplained deaths in New England in recent months.

Suazo, a 21-year-old Boston resident, was found in Milton, Mass on June 1st. The Norfolk District Attorney’s Office reported that there were no signs of trauma, and the cause of death is currently under investigation.

This incident adds to a series of troubling cases in the region. Since March 2025, there have been 13 bodies discovered in Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, and Maine, many in remote locations.

The circumstances surrounding these deaths vary, from dismemberments to unattended bodies found in the region.

While law enforcement agencies are investigating each case independently, the public has speculated about the possibility of a serial offender due to the volume and proximity of the incidents.

However, authorities have refuted the idea of a single perpetrator, citing the lack of forensic connections between the cases.

The string of incidents began in March with the deaths of Paige Fannon in Connecticut and Suzanne Wormser in Groton, Connecticut. The trend continued into April with more bodies discovered in various locations.

Most recently, Jasmine Wilkes was found deceased in Edgewood Park in New Haven on May 30th.

Adriana Suazo’s sister, Melanie Pizarro, expressed a desire to know the truth about her sister’s death and hopes for closure.

A vigil was held to honor Suazo’s memory near the site where her body was found.
