Greetings from New Orleans! I’m Elizabeth Cooney, reporting where the temperatures are high, the conference center is pleasantly cool, and discussions can get intense. This marks the first of three ADA in 30 newsletters, where my colleague Elaine Chen and I compile some of the news and analyses circulating here by the Mississippi River.

We’ll start with insights from Rick Woychik, who is a senior adviser to NIH chief Jay Bhattacharya and stepped in as the keynote speaker. Additionally, we have some background provided by our STAT colleague Anil Oza. Stay tuned for what the weekend holds.

If you’re attending, feel free to stop by and say hello, or you can reach me at [email protected].
