WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event is just around the corner, and fans are eagerly anticipating the surprises and twists that may unfold at the show. With some massive matches confirmed for the night, including Drew McIntyre vs. Randy Orton, there is a lot of excitement building up for what could happen next.

The Scottish Warrior, Drew McIntyre, made his return to the blue brand last week after a brief absence, only to fall victim to an RKO from Randy Orton. This led to SmackDown General Manager, Nick Aldis, announcing a singles match between McIntyre and Orton for Saturday Night’s Main Event. However, there may be a twist in the tale as Aldis could interfere in the match to cost Orton the victory, allowing McIntyre to pick up a win over the Viper.

This interference could set the stage for a heated rivalry between Orton and Aldis, potentially leading to a showdown between the two at SummerSlam 2025. With tensions running high and revenge on the line, the storyline between these two competitors is expected to take an interesting turn in the coming weeks.

In addition to the McIntyre vs. Orton match, Saturday Night’s Main Event will feature other big matches, including Seth Rollins taking on LA Knight and Goldberg facing Gunther for the World Heavyweight Championship in what is being billed as Goldberg’s final match.

Furthermore, Evolution II has also been confirmed for this weekend, with a stacked match card that includes some title matches. As WWE continues to shape the card for SummerSlam, the results of this weekend’s events could have a significant impact on the direction of the company leading up to the biggest party of the summer.

One of the marquee matches already confirmed for SummerSlam is Cody Rhodes challenging John Cena for the Undisputed WWE Championship in a highly anticipated rematch. With plenty of surprises and developments expected in the coming weeks, fans are eagerly awaiting what WWE has in store for them at the premium live event.

As the company gears up for SummerSlam 2025, the landscape of WWE is set to shift with potential new storylines and rivalries taking center stage. With a mix of established stars and rising talent, the stage is set for an action-packed and thrilling summer in the world of professional wrestling.
