Biopic Plans Put on Hold
Amid Discussions of Band’s Reunion Tour

The much-anticipated *NSYNC biopic has been shelved as the band members were not convinced by the initial pitch or the producer involved.
Sources close to the band revealed that the project did not progress beyond the initial stages as the band’s management felt that producer Neal H. Moritz was not the right fit for the project.
The band members and their teams collectively decided to explore other producer options before considering moving forward with the biopic, especially in conjunction with talks of a potential reunion tour.
If the biopic were to proceed, all five members of *NSYNC insisted on serving as producers, emphasizing the importance of equal involvement from each member in telling their collective story.
Recent discussions among *NSYNC members have centered around potential plans for their 30th-anniversary celebrations, including the prospect of a reunion tour excluding Justin Timberlake.
Last August, Live Nation and AEG presented a lucrative offer for a stadium tour in 2026 to all five members of *NSYNC, but Justin Timberlake did not express interest in participating.
The Hollywood Reporter initially hinted at the biopic earlier this year; however, discussions were premature, leading to a standstill due to the band members being under separate management.
In conclusion, *NSYNC’s stance remains united in the requirement for full group involvement, emphasizing that unless a reunion tour with unanimous approval is on the horizon, the biopic will remain on hold indefinitely.
