The design, created by graphic designer Matthew Wolff over a five-month period, incorporates elements like eight feathers to signify the original eight NWSL teams, including the former Boston Breakers.
The club is currently in the process of renovating White Stadium, which will serve as their home field in the future. However, due to delays in the renovation process, Boston Legacy FC will be playing their inaugural season at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough. This makes them the first women’s professional soccer team to play their regular season matches at an NFL facility. The team is expected to move to White Stadium for the 2027 season.
