Three individuals lost their lives, and four others sustained injuries in a tragic fire in Queens during the early hours of the morning. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation by the authorities.
Emergency responders received a 911 call that led them to 8725 Chevy Chase St. in Jamaica Estates, where they faced a three-alarm blaze just before 1:40 a.m.
According to the police, three men aged 45, 52, and 67 were pronounced dead at the scene, while the four injured individuals were promptly taken to nearby hospitals for treatment.
Three of the injured victims were transported to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center and were reported to be in stable condition, while the fourth individual was listed as stable at Queens Hospital Center, as per the authorities.
City fire investigators are currently looking into the origins of the fire, with police overseeing the investigation process.
The identities of the victims have not been disclosed at this time.
