Brooklyn Man Accused of Raping Boy He Was Babysitting and Posting Abuse on Dark Web

A shocking case has emerged in Brooklyn, where a man named Ramel “Menah” Warner is facing charges for allegedly raping a young boy he was babysitting. What makes this case even more disturbing is the fact that Warner reportedly filmed the abuse and posted it on the dark web. Authorities are now concerned that there may be other victims who have yet to come forward.

According to federal prosecutors, Warner lived with the victim’s family for two years and frequently babysat the 7-year-old victim. During this time, he allegedly made six different videos of the abuse, which investigators have uncovered.

On January 29, Warner was charged in federal court with acting in a manner injurious to a child, forcible touching, and sexual abuse of an individual under the age of 11.

Authorities have identified Warner through his distinct tattoos visible in the recordings, which he allegedly uploaded to the dark web.

Both the FBI and the NYPD have urged any other potential victims to come forward with their claims against Warner. They are actively seeking out individuals who may have been subjected to similar abuse.

The victim bravely disclosed the alleged abuse to his mother in November 2022, leading to Warner’s arrest by the NYPD. He was subsequently charged in an 11-count indictment, with the criminal case still pending.

Despite his arrest, Warner continued to participate in a children’s dance group that met at a middle school. This alarming behavior has raised concerns about his access to children and his potential to harm others.

The indictment highlights Warner’s persistent efforts to associate with children, even after being arrested for a serious crime against a child. This pattern of behavior underscores the need for vigilance and caution when it comes to individuals like Warner.

While the filings do not specify the schools Warner was associated with, federal and city officials have chosen not to disclose this information. Warner remains in custody, and as of now, it is unclear whether he has legal representation.
