OMB Director Russ Vought Strikes Again: Eliminates Billion in Green New Scam Funding to Liberal States | The Gateway Pundit | by Jim Hoft

In a striking move, Russ Vought, Director of the Office of Management and Budget (OMB), announced the cancellation of $8 billion in funding earmarked for various green initiatives across a selection of left-leaning states. This funding, often labeled pejoratively as part of a “Green New Scam,” affects projects in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Oregon, Vermont, and Washington.

BREAKING: OMB Director Russ Vought just CANCELED $8 BILLION in Green New Scam climate funding during the government shutdown for the following states

This decision follows Vought’s earlier announcement on social media, where he revealed he had frozen nearly $18 billion in infrastructure projects specifically in New York City. His justification? A desire to ensure that taxpayer money isn’t being funneled to support initiatives attributed to unconstitutional Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) principles.

“Roughly $18 billion in New York City infrastructure projects have been put on hold to ensure funding isn’t flowing based on unconstitutional DEI principles,” Vought stated, hinting at a broader reallocation of federal resources.

He added, “More information will be made available soon from @USDOT.”

As noted by The Gateway Pundit, this significant shift in budget priorities comes in the wake of what some are calling a “Schumer Shutdown,” which officially commenced at 12:01 AM after two legislative attempts to prevent a shutdown failed to muster the necessary votes in the Senate. The GOP-backed proposal fell short with a 55-45 vote, notably with Rand Paul siding with the Democrats.

The political narrative continues to unfold: supporters of the Democratic Party and Paul are portrayed as having prioritized the welfare of undocumented immigrants and controversial medical procedures for transgender youth over the imperative need to maintain government functionality.

Nearly $8 billion in Green New Scam funding to fuel the Left’s climate agenda is being cancelled. Stay tuned for updates from @ENERGY.

The projects are in the following states: CA, CO, CT, DE, HI, IL, MD, MA, MN, NH, NJ, NM, NY, OR, VT, WA

In a larger context, the Trump administration has proclaimed a remarkable saving of $24 billion for American taxpayers, positioning this shutdown as potentially the most momentous in history.
