Sophia Allison, known by her stage name Soccer Mommy, is gearing up to explore the world in 2025. The talented singer-songwriter is currently on a global tour that will see her travel from Carrboro, North Carolina, all the way to Japan by the end of the year. The tour features songs predominantly from her latest album, “Evergreen,” released in 2024. This album showcases Allison’s signature lush bedroom pop sound, characterized by gentle strings and intimate production.

Soccer Mommy has been known to experiment with different musical styles, including more rock-oriented releases like “Shotgun” and “Bones.” However, “Evergreen” marks a return to Allison’s roots of performing solo with just an acoustic guitar, reminiscent of her early days in the music industry.

In a recent interview with Vogue, Allison expressed her desire to create a dynamic and engaging live show while also highlighting the slower, more intimate tracks from “Evergreen.” To showcase these songs in a new light, she will be releasing a six-track EP titled “Evergreen (stripped)” on June 6. The EP features stripped-down versions of songs from the album, along with a bonus track titled “She Is.”

Soccer Mommy’s tour will take her across Europe and Australia during the summer months, followed by a second leg in North America in the fall. The tour will culminate with two special shows in Tokyo, Japan, to close out the year.
