The Straw Hat pirates are gearing up for new adventures in “One Piece” Season 3 on Netflix, with the addition of two new crew members by the end of Season 2. One of these new members is none other than Princess Nefertari Vivi of Alabasta, who was previously known to the crew as Miss Wednesday, a Baroque Works agent. The reveal of Vivi’s true identity sets the stage for an exciting storyline that fans of the manga and anime will surely appreciate.

As the series moves forward, Vivi’s journey with Monkey D. Luffy and his team, now including Tony Tony Chopper, will center around her quest to fight for her war-torn country. Actress Charithra Chandran, who plays Princess Vivi, expresses her excitement for the upcoming arc in Season 3, which is currently being filmed in South Africa. Despite being unfamiliar with the IP when she first joined the series, Chandran has embraced the character’s arc and is thrilled to see it come to life on screen.

In an interview with Variety, Chandran discusses the challenges of portraying both Miss Wednesday and Princess Vivi, highlighting the similarities and differences between the two characters. She emphasizes the importance of maintaining a sense of continuity and duality in her performance, capturing the essence of each persona while still making them feel like a cohesive character.

As Princess Vivi’s true identity is revealed to the Straw Hat crew, Chandran hints at the complexities of the reconciliation process. While Vivi struggles to accept the genuine nature of her new allies, the Straw Hats demonstrate understanding and forgiveness, drawing parallels to their own complicated pasts. The journey towards trust and reliance will be a central theme for Vivi as she navigates her newfound role within the crew.

Additionally, the revelation that Miss All Sunday is actually Nico Robin, working for the villainous Crocodile, adds another layer of intrigue to the story. Vivi’s initial perception of Miss All Sunday as a psychopath reflects her struggle to trust those around her. As Season 3 approaches, Vivi’s perspective on her former foe may evolve, leading to new challenges and alliances.

Overall, the upcoming season promises to deliver exciting twists and turns as the Straw Hat pirates continue their journey with Princess Vivi by their side. Stay tuned for more updates on “One Piece” Season 3 as filming progresses and the story unfolds.
