- OnePlus 15 to be announced on October 27
- Available in three distinct colours
- Introduction of OnePlus Ace 6 also anticipated
OnePlus has officially revealed the date for the launch of its newest flagship smartphone, the OnePlus 15.
While it may not signal the start of a new flagship smartphone season, the unveiling of the latest OnePlus device has become a notable milestone. Along with Xiaomi, OnePlus consistently makes a timely entrance.
The company took to Weibo to confirm that the OnePlus 15 will debut on October 27, which falls on a Monday.
Specifications and Colours of OnePlus 15
According to OnePlus’s announcement (translated), the new flagship promises “Ultra Performance,” presumably thanks to its cutting-edge Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip. Recent benchmarks reveal impressive results for the global variant of the OnePlus 15 equipped with this processor.
The device is also expected to support “165 ultra-high framerate gaming”—a nod to its confirmed 165Hz refresh rate display in combination with boosted processing capabilities.
In conjunction with the launch date announcement, OnePlus revealed that the OnePlus 15 will be available in three colours: Misty Purple, Original Sand Dune, and Absolute Black.

OnePlus
The company also recently confirmed that the device will feature a substantial 7300mAh battery with 120W fast charging capabilities. It is also expected to come equipped with a robust triple camera system, including three 50Mp sensors. The new design gives the OnePlus 15 a more rugged aesthetic reminiscent of the OnePlus 13R (as seen in the title image) rather than the OnePlus 13, although it bears parallels to the Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold in its camera module.
As is customary, the OnePlus 15 will launch exclusively in China a couple of months ahead of its broader release, which is expected in early January, following the pattern set by the OnePlus 13.
Additionally, OnePlus has announced the upcoming OnePlus Ace 6, anticipated to be a more affordable flagship option. Should it come to the Western markets, it will likely be rebranded.
