The upcoming OnePlus 15 series is highly anticipated, following the success of the OnePlus 13 and 13R. With a rumoured Chinese launch in October 2024 and a global release in Q1 2026, fans are eagerly awaiting the next flagship and upper-mid-range phones from OnePlus.
The pricing for the OnePlus 15 is still unknown, but based on previous models, it is expected to be in the premium range. The OnePlus 13 started at ÂŁ899/$899, while the 13R was priced at ÂŁ679/$599.99. It is likely that the OnePlus 15 will fall within a similar price range.
In terms of specs and features, leaks suggest that the OnePlus 15 will be one of the first phones to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chipset. It is expected to come with a 6.8-inch 1.5K flat OLED display, a 50Mp triple rear camera setup, and a battery of 6000mAh or higher. The design of the rear camera module is also rumored to change from the circular bar to a small square matrix.
On the other hand, the OnePlus 15R is rumored to have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, a 1.5K flat OLED display with a 165Hz refresh rate, and a battery of 7000mAh or higher. It may also feature a triple rear camera setup, an ultrasonic under-display fingerprint sensor, and possibly an IP68/IP69 rating.
While details about the camera setup and software updates are still uncertain, OnePlus fans can expect top-notch performance and innovative features from the upcoming OnePlus 15 series. Stay tuned for more updates as we approach the official launch later this year.
