Recent leaks have provided strong evidence that OnePlus is currently in the process of developing a new high-end tablet that promises to deliver exceptional performance.
Just last month, rumors began circulating about OnePlus working on a premium tablet that could potentially be one of the first devices to feature Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset.
Now, a leaked benchmark test from Xpertpick seems to confirm these speculations, showcasing impressive results that hint at the tablet’s powerful capabilities.
OnePlus Pro tablet benchmarked
A OnePlus tablet, identified by the model number OPD2413, has surfaced on the Geekbench benchmark database, boasting a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor and 16GB of RAM.
The benchmark scores are nothing short of impressive, with a single-core performance reaching 3091 and a multi-core score of 9638.
For comparison, the current Android tablet performance leader, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra, achieved a multi-core score of 7010 in our own testing. Additionally, the Nubia Redmagic Nova scored 7086 in a similar performance test.
Next-gen OnePlus tablet clues
While the official name of the upcoming tablet remains uncertain, it could potentially be named the OnePlus Pad 2 Pro or OnePlus Pad 3 Pro. OnePlus has been known for its inconsistent naming conventions and release schedules, with the OnePlus Pad 3 closely following the OnePlus Pad 2.
There are hints that the new Pro tablet may share similarities with the recently unveiled Oppo Pad 4 Pro in China, as both devices are powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. The Oppo Pad 4 Pro features a 13.2-inch LCD display with a resolution of 2400 x 3392 and a maximum refresh rate of 144Hz, suggesting that the OnePlus Pad 3 Pro / OnePlus Pad 2 Pro could offer a similar spec sheet.
