The OnePlus Watch 3 smartwatch has received rave reviews since its recent launch, but there were a few minor drawbacks that were noted by users and reviewers. The main issues seemed to be the size and weight of the watch, as well as the absence of optional LTE connectivity. However, it seems that OnePlus is already working on a solution to address these concerns.

According to a report by 9to5Google, OnePlus health chief Leo Zhang has acknowledged the criticisms of the OnePlus Watch 3 and has confirmed that the company is working on a new product that will address the size and weight issues. It is unclear at this stage whether this new product will be a successor to the Watch 3 or an entirely new model.

In addition to addressing the size and weight concerns, OnePlus is also working on incorporating LTE connectivity into their smartwatches. Zhang mentioned that the technology for LTE is already available, but OnePlus needs to negotiate agreements with mobile operators in order to enable this feature. The company is currently in the process of finalizing these agreements, including in Europe.

Overall, it seems that OnePlus is committed to improving their smartwatch offerings and addressing the feedback from users and reviewers. With a focus on reducing size and weight, as well as adding LTE connectivity, OnePlus is set to release an even more impressive smartwatch in the near future.
