OnePlus has solidified its position as one of the top smartwatch manufacturers in the industry, despite a rocky start. The latest model, the Watch 3, has just addressed a major complaint that users had.
Previously, the OnePlus Watch was only available in one size, which was a common issue with many other smartwatch brands as well. However, OnePlus has surprised us by introducing a smaller version of the Watch 3, catering to those with smaller wrists. This new model is described as “a smaller iteration that packs the same features… perfect for smaller wrists.”
The new 43mm size of the OnePlus Watch 3 is a welcome addition, offering a more compact option for users who found the 46mm size to be too large. While it’s not as small as the 41mm Google Pixel Watch 3, it still provides a more wearable option for those with dainty wrists.
In contrast, Google opted to release a larger size for the Pixel Watch 3 series, fulfilling the requests of both fans and the media.
The 43mm edition of the OnePlus Watch 3 is currently available in Silver Steel color. More details such as the release date, price (expected to be lower than the 46mm version), and specifications are yet to be announced.
OnePlus will officially unveil the Watch 3 in 43mm size on 8 July at its Summer Launch Event, which will also showcase the OnePlus Nord 5 and other devices including the OnePlus Nord CE5, OnePlus Buds 4, and OnePlus Pad Lite. Pop-up events, like the one in London on 10 July at Protein Studios in Shoreditch, will provide fans with the opportunity to experience the new devices firsthand, exclusive discounts, and a chance to win devices from the OnePlus Ecosystem.
